# Winford Claiborne

Few are the men who will ever match Winford Claiborne. That he preached the gospel for 71 years (he died at the age of 88 in 2014) will impress most people, but beyond that, he was one of the most remarkable Christians I ever met. I heard him speak at Freed-Hardeman He spoke at Freed-Hardeman\\and even though he was unable to walk, he still had that commanding, authoritative voice that dispensed knowledge in every sentence. I was never disappointed to hear him preach or teach, and the time passed swiftly when he spoke.

In 1986-89, I was working on a Master\\new experacademic world to discuss curriculum.
