What did Adam look like? What Color hair did Joseph have? How tall was Abraham? Details such as these are not provided for us in the Biblical narrative. In fact, many details concerning people and locations are sparsely provided. But why? Well, some of it may be due to ancient Israel living in a high-context society, where much of what is written and said is assumed because everyone had the same shared experiences.
