The Minnesota Supreme Court
The Minnesota Supreme Court has lost its collective mind, ruling 7-0 that a male transgender athlete must be allowed to compete with women in USA Powerlifting. One might have hoped for one sane individual on the court, but such was not the case. Normal people know this is a ridiculous ruling; why don’t these “justices” have a clue? They provided no semblance of what should have been justice. Most citizens of this country know that a male is capable of blowing away female competition in this sport. Why is the court so dense? They might ask themselves, “Why aren’t any females suing to compete with males in various sports?” Duh!
Oh, but they were unwilling to let the transgender male suffer a loss of his civil rights. Really? What about the rights of the females to compete with other females? Apparently, the court has no compassion on them whatsoever. Are there no activities where males and females can intermix? Of course. So far as is known, both males and females can all join the debate team. They compete every day academically. Even transgenders can compete on Jeopardy. In academia, one could probably be welcomed with open arms if one declared to be a transgender person. Or in the recording industry. Some celebrities are as proud as they can be about their transgendered offspring.
However, God made the average male to be tougher and stronger (not to mention, sometimes dumber) than females. God created Adam to take care of Eve and the children they would have. This is the traditional role of the male. Men build things and sometimes break them, too. They go forth in armies to fight against each other. Can anyone envision the scourge of the Philistines showing up for battle with a female pronoun and insisting on being called Samsonia? God doesn’t make mistakes. Anyone who is born a male should grow up to be a man; girls should be able to grow up to be women. It may be legal to desire a change of gender, but it’s not wise. And everyone else should not be forced to agree with that decision. As Mark Lindsay sang in his song, “Arizona,”
She said she believes in Robin Hood and brotherhood, and colors of green and gray.
And all you can do is laugh at her. Doesn't anybody know how to pray?
Minnesota’s justices need to learn to distinguish between reality and fantasy. The transgender male can call himself anything he wants, but it doesn’t make it so. If these justices are elected, the people of Minnesota should vote others in.
