The Declaration of Independence (Part 2)

One of the greatest foes of independence is the philosophy known as Secular Humanism, which exalts and indulges the individual, the Self. Although they would deny it, humanists and their philosophy cause a person, in actuality, to fulfill the will of Satan. From the very beginning, he assured mankind that God was withholding something wonderful from them and they would be so much happier if they just disobeyed Him and gained the knowledge of good and evil. They transgressed God’s commandment and obeyed Satan instead. But they also received a great deal of guilt, shame, punishment, and grief—things he had failed to mention. Secular Humanism is Satan still encouraging human beings not to trust God—but rather themselves—because God is holding back from us pleasures of immense enjoyment.
