People Who Don't Need to Convert
In his June 29th (2025) issue of the Reno Record, Marvin Weir cites Steve Jordahl of AFN (American Forces Network) who reported on a "woman pastor…who told her congregation that the Great Commission means nothing to 'progressive church circles' like hers." She also declared:
We …don't tend to be very excited about the idea of running out and telling other people to change because of Jesus ... I think there are people perfectly happy in other faiths who do not need converting to ours.
No doubt happy worshippers populated Samaria. How many even complained about Baal? However, one huge question cannot be answered by such modernists: "If people can be saved in whatever "faith" they choose, then why did Jesus need to die on the cross?" There is no other name that can save anyone (Acts 4:12).
