Meet Our Speaker

Our Gospel Meeting begins next Sunday, and Dub McClish will be preaching. Not only has he conducted numerous gospel meetings in the United States and done local work for 33 years, he has also done mission work in several foreign nations including China and Russia. For 21 years he directed the Annual Denton Lectures, compiling one of the finest set of commentaries ever produced. He was aided by his wife, Lavonne, a proofreader extraordinaire, whom he lost one year ago.

When brethren wanted to produce a new publication, Dub was the unanimous choice to be editor. It was a first-rate, quality publication (The Gospel Journal) from the beginning until his resignation five years later. In addition to shorter articles (such as the one in last week's Spiritual Perspectives), brother McClish has written hundreds of manuscripts for lectureship books. All who attend this meeting will profit greatly.
