As a teenager, mom and dad took us to hear the late brother Marshall Keeble in a tent meeting at Lawton, Oklahoma; he said: "A man is not saved and then baptized. A woman does not wash clothes because they are clean. I have seen a lot of smart women, but not that smart! She washes the clothes because they are dirty. Man is baptized because he is dirty and needs to be made clean” (Acts 22:16). \[According to Google, Keeble (1878-1968) preached 55 years and baptized 40,000 people.\]
