Homosexuality and Propaganda
For the last four decades, propaganda has been put forth that seeks to sell this culture on accepting the sin of homosexuality. It began with changing the previous definition of the practice as deviant behavior and has gradually, through the efforts of the broadcast and entertainment media, found more and more acceptance in public venues—even to the absurd notion that two of the same sex can be married, contrary to God\? Has the general public been propagandized?
Two researchers say that the evidence indicates, \Yes.\ Paul Cameron, Ph.D, is the head of the Family Research Institute. Dr. Kirk Cameron is a statistical scientist; in fact he holds a doctorate in statistics. Together they wrote an article, published on the Internet: "The Gaying of America: Homosexuality Exploding Among Youth," which may be accessed by typing in that entire title.
What have we been told about homosexuality for years now? We have been assured that people are "born that way." Even Lady Gaga sings it; so it can't be wrong, can it? This mantra is nothing more than propaganda, and now we have proof. The authors cite the statistics that show that, since the positive publicity concerning the practice has been in force, the number of same sex practitioners has increased at a rapid rate. The article sets forth the statistics.
Young people for more than two decades have been taught that homosexuality is just a different lifestyle. No one would dare challenge the politically correct view that the practice is as normal as apple pie—except for homophobes who feast on the Bible, an outdated and worthless book. Is that statement a little bit strong? Not really. The Bible opposes the practice as a grievous sin in the Patriarchal Age, prior to the Law of Moses (Genesis 18-19), under the Law (Lev. 20:13), and as part of Christianity as well (Rom. 1:24-28). In other words, under any covenant that God ever made with man, He condemned homosexuality. He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for their practice of the sin and rejected the Gentiles for it, also.
Therefore, the Bible and Christians who uphold its morality must be attacked and opposed as believing something no longer relevant to modern man. However, the Bible never goes out of style. It reveals man's darkness to him (John 3:19-21), which most prefer to the light and therefore it is despised by men.
With the Bible under assault by atheists and evolutionists (could Bill Nye, the Science Guy, be wrong?), it would appear that nothing is going to stand in the way of exalting same-sex relationships. Under this relentless persuasion, more and more young people are wondering if they are homosexuals—and experimenting in that direction. In fact, a million more young people are considering it today than twenty years ago.
But how is that possible if homosexuality comes by birth instead of by teaching? It is not. The reason for the increase among young people (and more girls are considering it than boys) results from what they are being taught and subjected to in the media. The constant barrage by the misleaders of society has had its desired effect—which means that homosexual proponents are hypocrites. Homosexuality is learned behavior, which the Camerons have now statistically proven.
They have known it all along; otherwise they would have aimed only at tolerance. They would have argued, "Look, we know you don't understand these people. We're not sure we do, either. And we will never try to get you to accept or approve of what they do. But they are still human beings. Can't you treat them as such rather than as freaks? Many of them tell us that they cannot help being what they are? If we err, it should be on the side of tolerance, cutting them a little slack. They will not flaunt their homosexuality and purposefully annoy or upset people. In fact, in most cases you would never even know or suspect it. But if you do, couldn't you just be silent about it and not seek to get them fired from their jobs?"
No, we never heard such a plea. Instead, we got Gay Pride parades with sundry sordid behaviors, Gay Days at Disney, and overtly homosexual characters on just about every television program. And now that we have sown the wind, we are reaping the whirlwind with our young people, who have been taught to embrace perversion and reject truth. Can there ever be a coming back from where we now are? If not, no president can make us truly safe again. We might be for four years—or eight, but then what? The only solution is to invest in our understanding of Christian evidences—because no one can logically believe the Scriptures and not see the error and dangers of homosexuality.
