A few months ago we notified you of the financial needs of brother Junot Joseph for his work in North Miami and in Haiti. So far he has $1,000 per month, but this is not enough. He has borrowed money on a line of credit and is supporting himself that way for the time being, but he cannot continue in this way for long. Please consider $25 or $50 a month ($100 for churches). Below are portions of his September-October report.

Matthew 28:19-20. Brethren, this is the great commission. It is wonderful to embark on this mission together. Thanks for all you have done, are doing, and will do. Without your help, prayers, and support, I could not do this work. We say, as we sometimes sing: “To God be the Glory.” In Haiti's mission trips, the Lord always blesses me to have some people respond to and obey the gospel.

During the four trips to Haiti, about 130 people have been baptized. Also, more than one hundred people—especially children—have been fed, as well as seeing a doctor, and more than 50 people were given vitamins and medications. Thank God I had a credit card and some good friends like you who made these things possible.

For now, I can say we have only just begun. I must continue to revisit from time to time for follow-ups, teaching, and more preaching because what we have started is a golden opportunity to spread the gospel….

In Miami, we the Church of Christ continue to invest our efforts in the following areas: visiting the sick and the poor, conducting Bible studies, evangelizing, inviting others to service, and conducting the Radio Program weekly. The first program is on PlanetCompas.com every Saturday from 3:00 – 5:00 P.M. The second program is on 1080 AM from 2:00 A.M. – 4:00 A.M. (Yes, people do listen at these hours; we know from our feedback.) In addition there is a program on Sunday on RadioLumiere.com in Tampa from 4:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M.

I have to tell you that our needs are great, and our resources are seriously limited. I know only one thing—that the power of God and His blessings upon those who love and obey His commands are unlimited. Please pray and help as much you can.

Let me finish by saying, thanks again for everything. Together we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, as taught in Philippians 4:13.
