# Brand New Day

> It is a brand new day  
> That God has given (Lam. 3:22-25).  
> What will I do today that will  
> Give back true satisfaction (John 4:34)?  
>  
> To complain, serve myself,  
> Not to work, or waste my time (Eph. 5:15-17)  
> Will cause me pain of mind  
> And heart at close of day (Gal. 6:7).  
>  
> But to look on every minute  
> As golden precious time (2 Cor. 6:1-2)  
> To be used in love and service  
> To the One who gave it (1 Cor. 10:31-32).  
>  
> True fulfillment, joy,  
> And peace of mind will come (Ps. 100:2)  
> In trying to accomplish all the  
> Good thoughts of service I can (James 2:14-26).  
>  
> My Goal: To bring joy to others,  
> To give hope and not despair (Gal. 6:10)—  
> Thus, to make love a reality  
> By the things I do (1 Cor. 13:1-8);  
>  
> To know myself  
> By getting in touch with God (James 1:25),  
> And to strive  
> Toward my full potential (Phil. 3:12-16);  
>  
> To look back on this day and know (2 Cor. 13:5)  
> I have not wasted my time  
> On self-indulgence (Luke 15:11-13);  
>  
> To know ***now*** is all the time I have (John 9:4)  
> To bear fruit to the glory  
> Of the Creator of all (Rev. 4:11).

> Help me Lord, to make this  
> The center of my everyday thought (Phil. 4:8)  
> That each day may be  
> A victory in Your service (1 John 5:1-4),  
>  
> So one day, in eternity,  
> When time is no more (Rev. 21:6-7),  
> Those precious, wonderful,  
> And declarative words may be said to me:  
>  
> **Well Done!!** (Matt. 25:21).
