VERSES TO MEMORIZE
1:7 "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power
and of love and of a sound mind."
2:2 "And the things that you have heard from me among many
witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to
teach others also."
2:15 "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a
worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing
the word of truth."
3:15 "And that from childhood you have known the Holy
Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation
through faith which is in Christ Jesus."
3:16-17 "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is
profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for
instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be
complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."
4:1-4 "I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus
Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His
appearing and His kingdom: Preach the word! Be ready in
season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort,
with all longsuffering and teaching. For the time will come
when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to
their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will
heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their
ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables."
4:6-8 "For I am already being poured out as a drink offering,
and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the
good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness,
which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on
that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved
His appearing."
